CAT C13/C15 ACERT Injector Solenoid Coil

The SO08 double-valve solenoid coil fits Caterpillar C13 and C15 ACERT electronic unit injectors. ACERT injectors use two control valves, so they need this dual-circuit coil instead of the single-valve coil used on earlier 3406E/C15 engines.

When to replace the coil

• Injector solenoid circuit or cylinder cut-out codes
• Coil out of spec on resistance or insulation test during a rebuild
• Rough idle, misfire or white smoke traced to one injector
• Damaged terminals or housing
