CAT C15 Injector Solenoid Coil

The SO01 injector solenoid coil is the replacement coil for Caterpillar single-valve electronic unit injectors (EUI) used on the 3406E, C10, C12, C13, C15 and C18 engines. It is the most common coil we sell to injector rebuild shops working on CAT on-highway trucks and industrial units.

When to replace the coil

• Injector cut-out or misfire codes on one cylinder
• Open or shorted solenoid circuit readings at the injector
• Coil failing resistance or insulation test on the bench during a rebuild
• Cracked housing or damaged terminals

• Caterpillar 3406E
• Caterpillar C10, C12
• Caterpillar C13, C15 (pre-ACERT single-valve injectors)
• Caterpillar C18

Note: ACERT C13/C15 engines with double-valve injectors use a different coil — see our CAT C13/C15 ACERT coil (SO08).
