CAT C4.2/C6.4/C6.6 (320D) Pump Solenoid Coil

The SO07 pump solenoid coil fits the high-pressure common rail fuel pump used on Caterpillar C4.2, C6.4 and C6.6 engines, best known from the 320D excavator. A failed pump solenoid causes low rail pressure, long cranking and no-start conditions.

When to replace the coil

• Low rail pressure or fuel pump solenoid codes
• Hard start or no-start with good supply fuel
• Coil failing resistance test during a pump rebuild
